EXHIBITIONS

Since 2014, I’ve worked as a Curator in Michigan. A partner and I started a music venue and art gallery that worked as a creative space for all mediums. This included social activism, yoga, poetry and more.

I began working at the Saginaw Art Museum in 2018. In 2020 I became the Associate Curator, organizing exhibitions, writing interpretive materials, designing educational programming, and giving public lectures.

Curating has always meant displaying a diversity of mediums, voices and perspectives with an eye towards amplifying everything on the margins.

My interests include contemporary art, printmaking, photography, manuscript studies, sculpture (honestly all mediums) and the ways exhibitions create meaning through juxtaposition.

My goal in curating exhibitions, events and more is to create a space for people to be inspired. I believe in a society where everyone works to become the best version of themself and I help to create circumstances in which they can achieve that.

Selected Exhibitions

After working in the industry for over 12 years in galleries and museums, I was able to put together the most important show of my career. It is of course always a team effort, but I was lucky to lead the charge on curating a show in 2026 that spans the career of Andy Warhol.

Before I began working at the Saginaw Art Museum in August of 2018, I ran my own art gallery and music venue called Counter Culture Arts Collective. This is a show with a guest curator, Erin Case that we collaborated on for our week long art and music festival. Getting Parker Day in Saginaw was a feat that helped propel to me into the museum world.

We did a lot of phenomenal shows for small town Saginaw, MI. Another favorite of mine was having Will Laren and Penelope Gazin on the walls for our first art and music festival. Originally called Patchwork Art and Music Festival and the art show was called Funhouse, we realized that the branding of Funhouse was stronger and changed the name of the festival.
